TESTIMONIALS

"I thank Lucien for the shape-shifting elephant journey - it was magical. I absolutely loved Lucien's explanations about the methodology, etc. It was food for mind and soul. I think that Lucien's deep thought and knowledge is a very important part of ready-ing ourselves to undergo and open to the experiences ahead. In general, I always appreciate the sincerity with which Lucien approach the work and us. No chatter. The circle was my favorite activity - to my surprise it involved the head-face-throat... and then ultimately voice-sound... elephant symphony. Thanks mucho."

"I completed the class with a feeling of balance, wellness and a curious sense of ability and awareness even as I walked. The class time passed surprisingly fast and I had an enjoyable experience. I appreciate Lucien's optimistic and joyful approach and knowing that all the movements are possible without discomfort, as an alternative is always at hand. Although the movements are simple, there is a subtle cognitive process at play. In the study of instrumental music it is said that if one wants to play fast, play slow. I think this slow practice in music is comparable to the Feldenkrais concept of slow movements. It is the slow, methodical movements in both that are inextricably linked to the brain, cognitive processing and improved ability. This is fascinating to me. I am thankful for a great movement class. "The workshop was excellent. I enjoyed everything from the structure, the movements, and Lucien's discussion. I really like the mix of the different postures and the shifts in between each break. I really appreciate that Lucien allowed each of us to find our very own movements that specifically cater to our bodies and teach us to observe ourselves in a unique and gentle way in order to understand deeper the essence of movement and what it means to us physically and emotionally. The return to child like aspect of the movement also brought a lot of joy for me. As much as I am already conscience about my movement and the connection between my mind and body, I think the session and workshop taught me even more to slow down and seek even a simpler more pleasurable way of doing anything. I was at a spin class [two days after the workshop] and I started off very slowing, trying to see if I can find the movement that my body likes, the ones that are easy, the image I see that makes the wheel spin and I tried to keep that through out the class. I knew times I did hit places I didn't want to push further but I do and I tried to pull back, sometimes I do and sometime I don't. This is often the conflict I have in my life. But I am glad to have the awareness."

"I really liked the Feldenkrais Intro workshop. It was a subtle yet profound experience connecting my body and mind. After the class I felt very grounded and rooted on my feet and at the same time being in a higher state of clarity that stayed with me for the whole day. I'm looking forward to learn more about Feldenkrais and take more classes with Lucien."
